Scott's been fortunate enough to have made quite a few friends while we've been down here in Arizona. One of those friends just happened to be Igor, the assistant coach for the Suns Basketball team. He was so nice to offer tickets to Scott for any home game of his choosing and included with that was family tickets which basically gets you backstage at the game. As soon as Scottie found this out Igor was his new best friend. He would frequently ask Scott "could you call Igor and ask him for tickets to the game?"
Scott was able to take Scottie to a few of the games. Each time Scottie would be there waiting after the game to watch the players walk by only separated by a few feet and a rope. He asked Scott if he could get their autographs, but Scott wasn't so sure and didn't want to be greedy. Igor called and offered Scott tickets to the game for this last Tuesday against the Clippers. Knowing this would be the last game they'd probably go to while being down here I told Scott he should really go get Scottie a basketball for some of the players to sign. Scottie was ecstatic. Scott got a ball at the gift shop and Scottie was able to get three autographs and one photograph with Steve Nash. Besides the autograph of Steve Nash, Amar'e Stoudemire and Jared Dudley, also took the time to give their autographs.
You'll have to excuse the quality of the picture it was taken with Scott's camera phone, but a great memory at that.
