Chocolately chocolate

...I didn't do it...

While sitting by his lonesome "eating" chocolate pie in the kitchen I thought to myself, "he must really be enjoying that pie, he's being so quiet." As I peeked over the wall from the living room into the dining room I see him stringing his fingers through his hair. At that point, I knew what was going on. I stood up from the couch and asked him what he thought he was doing. He didn't have much to say. Scott and I couldn't hold back the giggles and as soon as he knew he was making us laugh, he thought he was pretty funny too. I couldn't pass up the photo opportunity!

Happy Birthday, Baby

Today is Scott's 32nd birthday. Let's see you....you were 23 when we met and married. I've almost had you for ten years now. I'm planning on many more ten years of being with you. Thank you for being you. I LOVE your kind heart whether it be picking me up a bouquet of flowers because you know I've had a rough day, making sure your parents are well taken care of, helping friends who may really need your help, spending time with my dad because you know it means a lot to him, or seeing and giving the extra attention your children may need.
You're a hard-worker, a wonderful father, a true friend, an amazing husband.... and my eternal
partner I Love you so much!!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

BaBy nEwS

Much to the dismay of my sweet little Savana we are happy to announce that we are having a boy. I also had hoped to even it up with a little girl, but like my Mother-in-law says "Life is..... when God laughs because you make plans."
The baby is doing very well and looks to be healthy. I'm a little over half-way through.
We're excited to meet this new little person that will be apart of our family!

Christmas Vacation

Christmas was fun-filled with all the wonders of winter

....Plenty of SNOW

.....early morning Christmas wishes granted

AND
.......ICE SKATING

not me by the way ^ my SIL Chelsea.

All in all we had a wonderful time. Thank you to mom-dad Skeem and Brown.
I think the most memorable part of Christmas, aside from being with family, is seeing the pure excitement and happiness from my children's eyes. It puts the icing on the cake when you hear "This is the BEST Christmas ever!"
