Scottie had the opportunity to participate in a tournament put on by Jimmer Fredette. He was super excited and had tons of fun. Jimmer became one of his idols back when he played for BYU. He was hoping that Jimmer would go to the Phoenix Suns or even the Utah Jazz, but instead he was drafted to the Sacramento Kings.
The tournament is put on to help bring awareness to bullying and how children can help prevent it. They played in the tournament and then had the pleasure of hearing a speech given by Jimmer after which there was Q & A session. Scottie had his hand raised high, but unfortunately he wasn't one of the lucky ones to get called on. He had fun anyway.
The highlight of his day was when Jimmer autographed his Jimmer jersey and let us take a picture of him and Scottie together.
